OMFG.....Shadow the hedgehog eye candy! *bricked* @_@

This pose may be familiar to those who went to a site called Sonic Channel, an official Sonic site from Sega of Japan. [link]

They've got awesome stuff there. I can't translate the site to English though no matter how hard I try. But at least my computer is able to let me go to that site. Once I saw the brand new character art for Shadow in the characters profile, I was like: "DUDE...I gotta draw this. " Shadow looks so sexy and badass. (I'm not one of those Shadow fangirls who proclaim that Shadow's my only boyfriend/future husband who bash other Shadow fangirls and Shadow x [insert official Sonic character here] shippers. I'm just saying...I think Shadow is really handsome. That's all.) Even though I hardly copy off from official art images, I wanted to this time because it's a great reference for practice for character poses in general. I am really glad that the Sonic Adventure art style has returned. Looks like the 3D art didn't get rid of the SA style after all. Good thing both styles are still there.

Every month, Sonic Channel updates the new character art and profile for them along with wallpapers featuring them. Shadow of course, came out this month which is November. (Dang....Why can't they have him in December? It's my favorite month! ) Well, I'm still so happy that they have revealed Shadow anyway.

Whenever I look at the new official art of Shadow from that site, I am reminded of that song from M.C. Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" which explains the title of this drawing I did. Don't ask. It's just a fun song. I tried making it SA style, but I learned from a long time ago that it is impossible to make it come out like that with Traditional Art. I did my best on it.

Yes, I did this free-hand. You can tell that there is a slight difference between the official art and the drawing I did. I don't want to have to read questions like "Did you color this in crayon?" I know that it's not meant to be an insult, but it turns out that way to me because it's like saying:

"Did you color this in crayon? Because you color like a 9 year old! "

I worked really hard on this, especially with the coloring. All I can do to show my art on this site is by my scanner. The scanner makes my drawings that way. I hope you enjoy this.
