The NFL Draft and other sports (and reminders)

Well, I was watching the NFL draft last night (I'm a huge Redskins fan), and nearly did a back flip when they picked Brian Orakpo. Anyway, watching sports again for the first time in weeks made me think of a few contest ideas (not gonna say what). ;P Anyone else been watching it? (or gonna watch it today?)

A few reminders:
:bulletred: The Resident Evil Contest needs more entries! We only have one so far! If we don't have a decent turnout for contests, they may not happen as often.
:bulletred: If anyone has any ideas for contest's they'd like to see happen, don't be afraid to mention them in the shoutbox, a note, or anywhere else for that matter. Your opinion counts too!


Also, I've been noticing a lot of spam on our front page, in comments on journals, and in notes. I'm aware of the recent chain of spam that's hit dA in the last few weeks, and I want to apologize to those I've warned about it, since these messages might not be their fault. I therefore take back all warnings, and will instead just hide the messages, instead of reporting them.

Mind if I give you some advice on contests?

First of all, isn't Resident Evil 18+? Because I think that explains why not many people are interested in entering... If there's a contest based off another game, you should try making it a popular series that ISN'T too mature, like Pokemon or Ratchet and Clank. Then more members who are younger or just don't like such violent games will be interested.

And I have an idea for a contest- How about a summer one? It's summer, so it would make a lot of sense. XD
